We got back from the country side worn down and dirty so that whole day was doing laundry, catching up on emails, writing the blog, and cleaning up in general. There really isn’t much else to say about that day because we didn’t really do anything and then went to bed.
The next day however was the perfect way to leave. We woke up early and went to a little breakfast nook that we had been scouting since we got there and got a nice normal American style breakfast (of course it was a smaller portion and also we got baked beans with it, who knew). After getting some food in us we decided to walk
around the city and soak up everything before we left.
It was just the ticket. We walked the main shopping area after checking out Trinity College which is the college in the middle of Dublin, great place, nice and green and a good place to hang out for a bit. Then we headed over to St. James Green. This is an awesome park also in the middle of the city with a river running through it, and big green lush trees everywhere. We people watched for a good 2 hours before leaving to find an all you can eat Chinese place that overlooked the park. We went to bed a little earlier than normal that night after watching the 5th Harry Potter to get ready for the 6th movie.

We were definitely ready to leave the next day and go to London. We caught our plane around 1:20 and were off to the races. Next stop, London…..
Nice, I'll have to try baked beans for breakfast here . . .
ReplyDeleteI love the first picture of the river . . . gorgeous.
